Physicians

Whether partnering with referring doctors or promoting the health of our patients, MD360′s team of physicians is bringing quality convenient care to the community every day. While other convenient care centers often have physician’s assistants on staff to examine patients, you can count on MD360′s board-certified physicians every time you visit.

James Ellis, M.D.

James Ellis MDDr. Jim Ellis attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated from medical school at Louisiana State University in New Orleans and finished an emergency medicine residency at Charity Hospital. Dr. Ellis founded a 40-physician ER group in Atlanta, where he practiced for 15 years. He is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and his professional interests include venue medicine. He is the emergency physician for the Atlanta Falcons and works with the NFL to coordinate medical care for teams in the Super Bowl.

Kevin Holcombe, M.D.

Kevin Holcombe, M.D. earned his medical degree from the University of FloridaSchool of Medicine in Gainesville then completed his residency at Greenville Health System.

Megan Buhler, M.D.

Dr. Megan BuhlerDr. Meghan Buhler received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida, where she graduated with honors. She finished medical school at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and was a leader and officer in student government. Dr. Buhler completed her residency training in family medicine at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System after an internship in obstetrics and gynecology. She is board-certified in family medicine and has a special interest in women’s healthcare.

Allan Gilmer, M.D.

Dr. Allan Gilmer graduated from Auburn University with a degree in electrical engineering and then spent 10 years serving our country working with the Navy and Air Force on software design, integration and testing for many projects including the Global Positioning System. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed a family medicine residency in Greenwood, S.C. Dr. Gilmer spent three years working as a medical missionary in the Philippines and three years working in the emergency departments in Edgefield County Hospital and Abbeville Memorial Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine with advanced certification in advanced cardiac life support, pediatric advanced life support, advanced life support in obstretics and advanced trauma life support.

James M. Taylor II D.O.

James M. Taylor, II, D.O. graduated from Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in family medicine at Spartanburg Regional. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and American Association of Family Physicians. An avid amateur cyclist, Jim is a three-time gold medalist at the SC state time trials.

Frank B. Beacham, M.D.

Frank Beacham,M.D.  earned his medical degree from Saba University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antillies and completed his family medicine residency training at Seneca Lakes Family Medicine Program in Seneca. Dr. Beacham is board certified in family medicine and has in interest in rural medicine.

Cara R. Bostrom, M.D.

Cara Bostrom, M.D., a graduate of Furman University earned her medical degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Cnter in Memphis, TN. She completed her family medicine residency training at the Great PLains Family Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma City, OK where she was chief resident. Coming from New Horizon Family Health Services in Greer, Dr. Bostrom joined MD360 in 2012. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, South Carolina Academy of Family Physicians and Greenville County Medical Society.

Katherine Birchenough, M.D.

Katherine Birchenough, M.D. earned her medical degree from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia then completed a residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Virginia. After years of working in emergency departments – including Greenville Memorial Hospital – Dr. Birchenough joined MD360 in 2011. She is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics.

Jennifer M. Springhart, M.D.

Dr. Springhart earned her medical degree at University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed residency training in Emergency Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She joined MD360 in 2011.

Jennifer A. Gilroy, M.D.

Jennifer Gilroy, MD earned her medical degree at Jefferson Medical College in Philidelphia then completed a Family Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital in Pennsylvania. She then received advanced training in Sports Medicine and completed a Fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.

Lisa M. Baych, M.D.

Lisa Baych, M.D. earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Great Plains Family Medicine Residency Program in Oklahoma City.  She joined MD360 in 2011.

Chelsea Burgin, M.D.

Chelsea Burgin, M.D. graduated from Canadian University College in Alberta, Canada with a degree in Psychology.  She earned her medical degree from Loma Linda School of Medicine and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Self Regional Hospital in Greenwood.  Dr. Burgin is board-certified in family medicine and joined MD360 in 2011.  Outside of work, interests include outdoor activities and family life.

Josh  Welborn, M.D.

Josh Welborn, M.D. is originally from Haleyville, Alabama.  He graduated from the University of North Alabama with a B.S. in biology.  He earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Following medical school, he completed residency training at Greenville Health System in June 2010. He has a primary interest in preventive medicine.  An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Welborn enjoys gardening, running, biking and music.

Salvatore F. Bianco, M.D.

Salvatore Bianco, M.D., earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo and completed his family medicine residency training at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and the Southern Medical Association.

Richard H. Morgan, M.D.

Richard Morgan earned his medical degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences in Denver and completed his residency in family medicine at Swedish Family Medicine Residency Program in Seattle. He went on to complete a fellowship in sports medicine at GHS’ Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas.  He is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He joined MD360 in 2012.
